M1 Operation

To arm the M1, simply switch the ignition off.  To disarm, simply switch the ignition off twice.

Warning chirps sound if movement is detected.  The alarm sounds if movement persists.  Sounds for 30 seconds - very loud!  To silence, simply switch the ignition on.  Tranquillity and peace of mind return.

Action             Key Position       Alarm Status

With the ignition key on the alarm is always disarmed.  With the ignition key off it may be armed or disarmed.

The Ignitor M1 motorbike alarm shuts down after 3 successive alarms.

By then it's clear, nobody cares your bike is being stolen!

M2 Operation

Back to Products

Functionality is similar to that of the M1, with the addition of SMS control and monitoring.

To Arm

Simply switch the ignition off.  A 30 second snub period allows time for the rider to dismount the bike and remove the ignition key.

To Disarm

Switch the ignition off twice.  A short chirp acknowledges the disarmed state.  In this mode, the Ignitor® M2 is still powered, but disabled.  The disarmed state is useful for refueling, maintenance or simply taking in the view.

Mobile Phone Control

Simply SMS (Text) the desired operating mode.  The Ignitor® M2 provides 3 operating modes; Armed, Disarmed & Silent.  In silent mode, the alarm is armed, but not 'sounded’. Only SMS alerts are sent.

Warning Chirps

A few short chirps followed by an 8 second snub period allows would be thieves to move away from the bike and find another target. They also serve to minimise accidental alarms caused by pets or local fauna.

Text Alerts

You will receive a SMS within moments of any warning chirp or low battery event.  Please note that text alerts are 'mobile network' dependant.  Both you and your bike must be within the GSM coverage area.

The Alarm

If movement persists the alarm sounds for 30 seconds, very loud! Should any thief be stupid enough to continue, they will soon find themselves the centre of attention. To comply with local councils noise pollution legislation, the M2 shuts down after 3 successive alarms, unless re-activated by the ignition key.

Distress Call

The Ignitor M2 will call your mobile should any alarm event occur, the rest is up to you.

To Silence

Simply switch ignition on.  Tranquility and peace of mind return.
