M1 Installation
Installing the Ignitor® M1 Motorcycle Alarm is simple - only 2-wires! 1. The Ignitor M1's positive wire connects to the positive battery terminal. 2. The Ignitor M1's trace wire is soldered to a suitable lamp circuit (see insert below). 3. Finally, fix the Ignitor® M1 Motorbike Alarm in place with bracket supplied.
NOTE: Installation should be carried out by suitably qualified personnel. The soldered connection shown above is exposed for purpose of the explanation. Once soldered, this connection should be insulated with electrical or self amalgamating tape. Please refer to the Ignitor M1's Installation and User Manual for full installation details. The Ignitor M1's Patented '2-wire Interface' The Ignitor® M1 connects to your motorcycle using only 2 wires. The M1's positive wire connects to battery (+) The M1's trace wire connects to a 'suitable lamp circuit' Which is simply the positive wire of a tail lamp, rego plate lamp, park lamp etc. Refer to the Installation and User Manual for further detail.
